Per celebrare i sei decenni trascorsi dal loro debutto incendiario, questo doppio LP riunisce due istantanee distinte ma complementari della potenza grezza e diretta di The Pretty Things.

Il primo disco presenta il loro debutto omonimo del 1965 – urgente, spavaldo e senza fronzoli – un album concreto che ha catturato la band così com’era: tagliente, determinata e in anticipo sul loro tempo. Dal ritmo incalzante di “Road Runner” al fascino struggente di “13 Chester Street”, è qui che la band ha forgiato la sua reputazione.
Il secondo LP ci porta nel cuore di Londra, nel 2010: The 100 Club. Ancora carica, ancora senza compromessi, la band si è scatenata in un set in equilibrio tra riverenza e ribellione. Live At The 100 Club è un’istantanea che ci mostra The Pretty Things ancora completamente a proprio agio con lo spirito e il sound che hanno contribuito a definire, con i membri originali Phil May e Dick Taylor a guidare la carica.
