Per celebrare l’uscita di “War Of Being”, il nuovo album dei TesseracT, i fan della band hanno potuto ascoltare in anteprima esclusiva, al “The Gallery” di Londra, il nuovo album in Dolby Atmos 5.1, e partecipare a un incontro Q&A condotto da Alyx Holcombe (BBC Radio 1), e, nell’occasione, hanno potuto anche cimentarsi nel gioco “War Of Being” in VR. A seguire è stato proiettato in esclusiva mondiale il video del terzo singolo “Legion”, il cui set è stato messo a disposizione del pubblico presente. Ora, dopo il grande successo della presentazione del loro nuovo album “War Of Being”, la band ha reso disponibile per tutto il mondo questa magnifica esperienza cinematografica.

“Legion” è la prova che i TesseracT, oltre a essere in grado di scrivere canzoni eccezionali, riescono a rendere centrale l’elemento umano in un genere spesso privo di emozioni. Dal punto di vista musicale, il brano mette in mostra la versatilità e la capacità musicale di Daniel Tompkins.. 

A proposito del brano, Daniel Tompkins dichiara: 
“Concettualmente, Legion ci presenta ‘Fear’ nelle sue varie forme più subdole. La paura ci immobilizza e ci impedisce di comprendere la verità, oscurandoci il cammino nel tentativo deliberato di distorcere la nostra visione.  Dalla prospettiva dei nostri due protagonisti (Ex ed El), Legion vede come la paura laceri le loro vite, mentre vivono il disfacimento del loro mondo e affrontano il caos e la confusione che li circonda.”

Il video, diretto da Richard Oakes (Dark Fable Media), rappresenta la scena di apertura del racconto che ha ispirato “War Of Being”, scritto da Amos Williams. Ex (interpretato da Tompkins) ci mostra come la situazione a bordo di “The Dream” degeneri, prima prima di precipitare su “The Strangeland”.

I TesseracT hanno aperto la strada al loro ritorno con il brano “War Of Being”, una vera e propria dichiarazione d’intenti della durata di 11 minuti con l’annuncio di un tour mondiale, seguito da “The Grey”, che ha portato i fan direttamente nel mondo di “The Strangeland”. Con “Legion” la band va dritta verso il cuore, accompagnandoci verso l’uscita del suo magnifico quinto album.

‘War Of Being’ è stato registrato presso i Middle Farm Studios nel Regno Unito con Peter Miles (Architects/Sylosis/Dodie) che ha co-prodotto con la band insieme a Katherine Marsh dei Choir Noir (Bring Me The Horizon / Architects / Marillion). Al programming e alla produzione si è aggiunto Randy Slaugh (Periphery, Architects, Devin Townsend). L’additional engineering è stato curato da Forrester Savell (Karnivool). L’artwork, che presenta i caratteri “ex” ed “el”, è stato creato in collaborazione tra l’IA e l’uomo come mezzo per estendere il concetto nella sua presentazione.
